What inspired you to volunteer your time and talents with the UW Initiative to End Alzheimer’s?

“I am honored to be a member of the UW School of Medicine and Public Health’s Initiative to End Alzheimer’s Board of Visitors. Many of us on the board, including myself, have personally lived with the devastating effects of a loved one’s journey through this illness. As such, I am honored to support the mission and efforts of the UW Initiative to End Alzheimer’s through donations and working to enhance public awareness of the research, outreach and education conducted at the UW. There is much exciting and cutting-edge research happening right now. We hope that together we will find ways to better diagnose, prevent and treat Alzheimer’s disease, and even one day find a cure.”
