MADISON, Wis. – Goals scored by the Wisconsin hockey teams this year will not only help them win more games but will also help raise money to support important Alzheimer’s research and treatment at the University of Wisconsin.

With an assist from broadcasters Paul Braun and Brian Posick, whose families have been impacted by Alzheimer’s, iHeartMedia and our generous partners have committed to helping develop the continuous research on Alzheimer’s disease and related memory disorders that will improve lives and build a future without these debilitating diseases during the 2024-25 Wisconsin Hockey season.

From now until the end of the Badger Hockey season, a group of generous donors will match every dollar donated to this campaign up to $20,000 in support of the UW Initiative to End Alzheimer’s Greatest Needs Fund.

Funds raised go to the UW Initiative to End Alzheimer’s (IEA), which is the fundraising branch of Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
