Jody Krainer presents “Family Caregiver Burnout and Alzheimer’s Disease” on Badger Talks Live

This free, virtual Badger talk presented by Jody Krainer, MSW, LCSW, MBA, will look at risk factors and warning signs of burnout for those caring for a family member living with dementia due to Alzheimer’s disease. In addition, strategies to minimize caregiver burnout will be discussed.

About the presenter: Jody Krainer is Dementia Clinic Network Manager for the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and practiced for twenty years at a medical and behavioral healthcare system in Waukesha County. She also has advanced business education and experience, and worked as an administrator in a large, diverse community-based nonprofit in the inner city of Milwaukee for six years. Jody joined the WAI in 2016 and serves as the liaison to the statewide WAI-Affiliated Dementia Diagnostic Clinic Network. Her primary role is to increase access to quality dementia diagnostic and treatment services for those experiencing cognitive changes and their support system members.
